Professor Mark Scott’s Oration about the future of teacher education in Australia couldn’t have been more fitting for the inaugural MPF La Trobe Oration held at Mornington Yacht Club on Wednesday 4th October.
Professor Scott’s encouraging commentary about the role philanthropy has to play in supporting leaders in education to take risks resonated with our MPF community.
The principals we work with are leading the way on the Peninsula implementing evidence-based practice and our valued donors make it possible.
While there’s a lot of work to be done in education reform, it was wonderful to feel the positivity in the room about the recommendations Professor Scott presented.
