We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr Georgia Dawson and Professor Frank Oberklaid, AM, MD, FRACP, DCH to Mornington Peninsula Foundation Board.

Dr Dawson is an educational psychologist and lecturer at Melbourne’s Graduate School of Education. Georgia is a widely published academic and educational psychology professional with particular focus on effective teaching, child literacy and numeracy as well as mental health and wellbeing in primary school children.

Professor Oberklaid is a highly credentialled and experienced paediatrician and has spent many years working in, and researching, his special interest in prevention and early intervention, child mental health and the use of research findings to inform public policy and service delivery. His clinical and research training is in child development and behaviour, and his work as a specialist paediatrician is with children who have developmental and behavioural problems. Professor Oberklaid is an internationally recognised researcher, author, lecturer and consultant, and has written two books and over 200 scientific publications on various aspects of paediatrics.
